MOE-CCAB sponsored OBS Programmes for Sec 3 Cadets

Attention Sec 3 Cadets

NPCC HQ has secured places in the MOE-CCAB sponsored OBS Programmes for schools meant primarily for student leaders. The course focuses on: Leadership Information, Leadership Attitude, Communication Skills, Decision Making Skills and Stress Management Skills.

The course dates will be as follows:
8 Nov - 12 Nov
14 Nov - 18 Nov
21 Nov - 25 Nov

Things to note:
1) Only Secondary 3 NPCC cadets will be accepted and they must be Singapore Citizens.
2) Cadets must NOT have attended any OBS programmes.
3) The cost of the course will be borne by CCAB. However, selected cadets will have to refund the amount if they are absent for the course.
4) As there are limited places, NPCC HQ reserves the right to ballot places should there be overwhelming response.

Interested cadets are to submit their names and preferred dates to Mr Oon by Friday 12 Aug 2011, 5pm.

National Day Parade @ The Float at Marina Bay

NPCC Day Parade

a. Cadets must pass the promotion interview chaired by OC Unit and 2 other teacher officers on the above stated date.
b. The results of the interview are final and there will be no appeal.

You are to obtain a copy of the SSGT nomination form from the Customer Service Centre, complete and submit to Miss Yuen/Miss Lye before the interview. Cadets without the completed nomination form will not be considered.

Fancy Weapon drill performance for NPAP 2011

Dear secondary 2 cadets,

We are nominating 4 cadets for this Fancy drill performance. Cadets will get to learn professional fancy drills and perform during the NPAP 2011. Please read the notes below. If you are able to commit to the training which will last till April, please submit your particulars to Ms Yuen by the end of the week.

1. Training will commence on Sat 15 Jan 2011. All trainings will be on Sat except during the One week March school Holidays. Training Schedule will be given to selected cadets.

2. All trainings will take place at HTA.

3. Purely Voluntary - high commitment level of cadets

.22 Revolver Shooting Competition 2010
Congratulations to the .22 revolver shooting male and female teams for successfully completing the WHST and performing their best at the preliminary competitions. We will await for positive results.

Male Team comprises of Faizul (Captain), Shavindran, Esmond, Syaamil and Shafiq.

Female Team is made up of members Erizza (Captain), Hazwani, Azilah, Syafiqah Rafi and Aqilah.

The best shooters are Faizul (Score of 154/200), Erizza and Azilah (each with score of 109).

Combined UG Camp
Great appreciation to all Sec 3 cadet leaders and Ms Intan for working with the other Uniformed Groups in the successful Secondary 1 Combined UG Camp 2010 held on 2 3 June. Good effort put in by the Sec 1 NPCC cadets during the camp and the endurance they displayed having to attend the Road Safety Training immediately after the camp. Well done!
