SSGT Interview on 20th December 12.30p.m. at R17
If you meet the following criteria, you may attend the interview on the above mentioned date and time.
Criteria for Promotion to Staff Sergeant
1. Good school and NPCC attendance for 2010.
2. Proficiency badges: Cadets must have achieved
a. Road Safety
b. 3rd Class Drills
c. Campcraft
d. Adventure Training Camp (ATC)
e. .22” Classification Shoot
f. SANA
g. Civil Defence
h. 2nd Class Drills
i. Police Knowledge
j. HomeFront Security
k. Survival Training Camp (STC)
l. Heritage
m. Community Safety and Security Programme (CSSP)
3. Leadership
a. Cadets must be able to command and instruct a squad in drills.
4. Participation
a. Cadets must have participated actively in previous NPCC activities such as attending courses, camps, competitions, and performing duties for school events.
5. Attitude / Behaviour
a. Cadets must be exemplary in their attitude/behaviour with regards to their officers, peers and junior cadets.
b. Cadets must obtain the endorsement of 2 teachers based on their good conduct and behaviour.
6. Interview
a. Cadets must pass the promotion interview chaired by OC Unit and 2 other teacher officers on the above stated date.
b. The results of the interview are final and there will be no appeal.
You are to obtain a copy of the SSGT nomination form from the Customer Service Centre, complete and submit to Miss Yuen/Miss Lye before the interview. Cadets without the completed nomination form will not be considered.
